Our School Age
Before and After School Program
Our School Age program operates from September to June, Monday to Friday from 7am to 9am and 2:45pm to 6pm. The program provides full and part time care. Full day care is offered during PA days and during school breaks. On PA days and school breaks, school age program hours are 7am to 6pm. During school breaks (Christmas and March Break) the School Age program hours are 9am to 4pm. Extended care is available for an additional fee. Our School Age program is located at 89 Mountainview Road South, Georgetown ON.
The School Age program provides full/part time programs and transportation in coordination with school programs. Children are transported to/from school in a daycare van or walked to/from school by staff at our School Age location. It is essential parents complete our School Age Transportation Survey (found below) as this will help us assess parent needs and determine transportation routes for the school year.
Before & After School Transportation
Future Scholars Daycare Centre and School Age Program provide full and part-time programs and transportation in co-ordination with school programs. Children are transported to and/or from school in a daycare van. Transportation and School Age programs are only offered if there is a demand, therefore, it is essential parents provide this feedback.
Please download the following questionnaire to assess parent's needs and allow us to gather necessary information to organize programs and transportation.
Currently, Future Scholars transports to/from the following schools:
+ George Kennedy Public School
+ Silver Creek Public School
+ Harrison Public School
+ Park Public School
+ Glen Williams Public School
+ St. Brigid Catholic Elementary School
+ St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School (Walking transportation)
Please Note: Public School Board (Kindergarten) The Halton District School Board will provide a full day of learning as part of the Province of Ontario's plan for Early Learning. The program has been phased in and commenced September 2010. In September 2014, Glen Williams Public School will also provide Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program in Halton Region.
Future Scholars will try to co-ordinate programs for before and after school and transportation to and/or from the schools listed above. It is our intent to follow the noted schedules for schools; however, depending on many variables (demand of majority of parent needs, enrolment, changed bell times or schools, etc.) this could change prior to September 2014. Our transportation program (schools we service) depends on the majority of parent's needs and results from the above questionnaire, in addition to enrolment.
